Our client in Smyrna is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to lead critical application development efforts.   This is a permanent or contract-to-hire position.

The Sr. Software Engineer will take a leadership role to formulate and define system scope and objectives for new software development. The Sr. Engineer will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Also, prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and design, code, test, debug, and document those programs. This role may be responsible for completion of a phase of a project and will regularly provide guidance and training to less-experienced analyst/programmers.  If you are a self starter who is detail and task oriented and enjoys complex problem solving, please apply!

Required Skills:

• 10 years experience in Software Development environment with solid, demonstrable development experience in the following languages/tools/platforms:
  • C#, Biz Talk Server 2004, PL/SQL, .Net Framework 1.1 and 2.0, SQL and T-SQL, Windows XP, MS Visual Studio 2003

Preferred Skills:

• Candidates with development experience with the following languages/tools/platforms are strongly preferred:
  • Web Services
  • Visio
  • SourceSafe
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
  • E/R Diagrams
  • IIS
  • C++
  • BizTalk Server 2002
  • ASP.NET
  • LIMS experience
